Q: What types of insurance do you accept?
A: Kutz Rehabilitation & Nursing accepts traditional Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross and Blue Shield and most long term care insurance policies.

Q: Will I have to leave when my money runs out?
A: No. If you are unable to cover the cost of your stay, we will guide you in securing Delaware Medicaid, which is the state’s financial assistance program for health care.

Q: Do you have a memory / secured unit?
A: While we do not have a dedicated and secured memory unit, we do have a wander guard system in place and offer superb activity programming for those with cognitive deficits.

Q: Who is your Medical Director?
A: Dr. David Simpson, MD family medicine and geriatric medicine, oversees the medical care at Kutz Rehabilitation & Nursing as the Medical Director. Dr. Simpson is also affiliated with The Medical Group of Christiana Care and holds the title of Medical Director for Swank Memory Care Center.

Q: Do you have to be Jewish?
A: No. The Kutz Senior Living Campus proudly serves all faiths and cultures, while celebrating Jewish traditions and values.

Q: Can I still have non-kosher food?
A: Yes. While our kitchens follow the regulations to prepare foods certified kosher, residents have the ability to enjoy any meal in their room as well as a visitor's lounge where families can bring in their food of choice.
