The Auxiliary: Enhancing Life at Kutz Senior Living Campus

The Auxiliary is a dedicated group of talented and creative volunteers committed to enhancing the lives of residents at Kutz Senior Living Campus. Through their efforts, residents are empowered to live with dignity, engage in meaningful activities, and enjoy the world around them.

To support these initiatives, the Auxiliary organizes two major annual fundraisers: the Donor Luncheon in May and the Forget-Me-Not Gala in the fall. Additional funding is provided through generous donations and the Lights of Love campaign, all of which contribute to enriching the lives of residents.

Over the years, the Auxiliary’s unwavering generosity has funded countless projects and improvements across the Campus. Their contributions include:

• A para-transit van for resident transportation.
• Major funding for expansion projects.
• The purchase of new beds and furniture for all rooms in Kutz Rehabilitation & Nursing.

Ongoing Auxiliary support also enhances daily life on campus, providing:

• Free manicures for residents.
• Engaging entertainment through the Activities Department.
• Fresh flowers for the dining room and reception area.
• Beautiful artwork throughout the halls.
• Essential medical equipment as needed.

One of the most beloved programs is the Commissary Cart, offered every Thursday afternoon. This provides residents with a convenient way to purchase small items and treats. Additionally, through the Treat-A-Resident-to-Lunch program, residents who are able enjoy a monthly outing to a local restaurant, fostering a sense of community and joy.

The Auxiliary is an integral part of the Kutz Senior Living Campus family, consistently enhancing the quality of life for residents through their time, creativity, and generosity.
